“After the storm”... after Hurricane Katrina, I found many people hurting from a devastation that surpasses normal grief. Many people had lost there homes, their livelihoods, their loved-ones, their way of living, their quality of life; but most of all, many lost their dignity and hope for a better day to come. I have before and I again now seek to bring strength and sustenance to many who have given up on being truly "helped". Through the power of Community-Based Crowdfunding, we plan on making a tremendous difference with our community and our gulf-coastal region. With this momentum, we plan to spread out to all parts of our country and evenetually our world to bring all that we can into prosperity and peace! This has to be done; one person at a time... one heart at a time. This is when true momentum is created and the trust that is built as we reach out and bless lives will change this world! With the success of this community based programme, we now wish to take the next step in evolution to be an even more interactive and powerful help to those who are hurting and in need after a major calamity, natural disaster or life-changing emergency. God has blessed us with a unique perspective about how to be effective after a major upheaval occurs, especially after a disaster like this comes to past. This type of interaction “during the fray” so to speak has forged within us an insight and aptitude to know how to go in and be a direct help to those who have been displaced and left without sustainable necessities to make it “after the storm”.
