One thing Hurricane Katrina did was become an unknowing tutor to many of the students who were involved with her fury and wrath.  She taught us so many lessons about preparedness, patience with one another, good communication skills, compassion, having a good sense of humor and being able to lend a helping hand.  There were so many other things we learned about the land and mostly we learned about our own selves and our ability to bounce-back after this devastating event.  So many people still are recovering from the aftermath of the storm both physically & spiritually.  The financial toll that this storm had on all the residents were simply too many to tally; but the effects became ever so real to all of us.  For those reasons, we have a new idea that has taken wings and has flown into the hearts of many young, innovative and "relief-seeking" people.  I believe that with this platform and with this process, we will be able to actually heal many lives on this Gulf-Coast and eventually make a difference on every continent in this world!  The power of "Crowdfunding" is that we take the "power of one" and we multiply it by a million!  We have made a plan and road-map that we are going to follow by helping people... one-by-one.  By utilizing Crowdfunding in a "grass roots" or community based fashion, we can reach families in a systematic yet life-changing way.  Each one reach one... is our philosophy and this process of Crowdfunding works on anything you point the stream of efforts from it to.  Just look at the story of the Jamaican Bobsled Team and their trip to Sochi, Russia for the Winter Olympic Games in 2013.
