Our Vision for the Future
We see ourselves meeting the needs of people who have endured calamity through natural and unnatural disasters. Out of pain emerges experience; out of experience springs forth ideas… and out of ideas blossoms our greatest tool… ingenuity! In many situations over time, history has shown us that through much suffering, understanding and eventually progress is made. This was the driving force in which God inspired me to sit down and draw up on paper the Guardian Angel Adoption Program at 3:00 am. This seed has now germinated into the Guardian Angel Adoption & Emergency Preparedness Project. Not a new idea, but a supplement and a streamlined way to meet the needs of disaster riddled communities, assist after natural calamities, support those who have lost due to disasters and be a support on the humanitarian side of life as well. With this manifold effort, we will develop our response process and implement those practices to meet the misfortunate’s need during a crisis moment in their lives… that is the most important thing!
Reaction to Our Community
Reaction and "Reaction Time" to Disaster Relief and Emergency Preparedness are two specific areas of human assistance that require strategic planning and a fluid plan of action that can meet the needs of the community that is under duress due to a recent disaster or natural calamity. The ability to access the needs quickly and move as soon as possible to meet those immediate and intermediary needs are crucial to assisting the affected populace and returning them to some level of normalcy and quality of life. We are doing our best to meet the needs in both of those strategic areas.
